Private Piano Lessons
Private piano lessons are taught in studio and are usually 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length. Lesson structure depends on your individual needs, experience and goals however most lessons include the following: learning to read and play music, learning to recognize and execute rhythms accurately, music theory concepts and their application, technique, improvisation and performance preparation. Private Guitar Lessons
Private guitar lessons are available in studio at Piano By Julie studios in Canoga Park. Acoustic/electric guitar, bass, ukulele, or banjo. Rock, pop, blues.

Summer Group Guitar Class
Beginning June 19 and June 20, introduction to basic guitar strumming, chords, rhythm, tuning. $96.00 for 8 week class.

Private Vocal Lessons
Private vocal lessons are available in studio at Piano By Julie studios in Canoga Park. Lessons include learning proper vocal technique as well as repertoire in various genres chosen in collaboration with instructor and student.

Performance Evaluations
Each year Piano By Julie sponsors this event which is held in Woodland Hills. Participants prepare 2-5 memorized pieces, the corresponding scales and chords, as well as receive a sightreading test. A judge from a university music program will come to listen and provide positive feedback and suggestions for improvement. It is a great opportunity to hear a professional evaluation of your skills from someone who is hearing you for the first time. Cost is $35 and is open to the community.
