Tuition and Attendance

Payment is due the first lesson of each month for 4 lessons. There is no credit given for missed lessons, however lessons may be made up if there is scheduling availability.

Payment can be made by cash, check made out to “Piano By Julie,” credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or Discover), or through www.pianobyjulie.com using Paypal. All late payments received after the 15th of the month incur a $15 late fee.

Tuition includes all recitals as well as membership to the online music learning community. Recitals are twice a year in January and June.
Special events and materials are not included in the tuition payments.

Rates

In studio lessons per month (which includes 4 lessons)
$110/$150/$205/$300 for 30/45/60/90 minutes.

In home lessons per month (which includes 4 lessons)
$140/$205/$270/$390 for 30/45/60/90 minutes.

School Year session runs September through June and includes 42 lessons. This session has 10 equal monthly payments in the amounts listed above.

Summer Session takes place in July and August and consists of 6 lessons.
Students can pay for all 6 lessons at a discounted rate, or pay by the lesson at regular price.

Discounts

3 months prepayment: 5% discount
6 months prepayment: 10% discount
As is reflected above, longer lessons reduce the hourly rate.
Senior Citizens receive 10% discount.
If you refer a new client and they pay for at least one month, receive $10 cash.

Practice

Practice is necessary for progress on the piano. Beginning students must practice at least 4-5 days per week, 15 minutes per session. Intermediate 30 minutes 4-5 times per week, and advanced 60 minutes 4-5 times per week. 4 lessons per month enforces these practice goals.
